- Payment: Full payment is required upon completion of the service unless agreed otherwise in writing.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled service will not incur additional fees, but deposits are non-refundable.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service may be subject to additional charges.
4. Liability and Insurance
- Standard Coverage: Fleming Island Movers provides basic liability coverage for your items during the move, as required by law.
- Additional Insurance: Clients are encouraged to purchase additional insurance for high-value items.
- Exclusions: Fleming Island Movers is not liable for damage caused by:
- Items packed by the customer.
- Fragile or improperly packed items.
- Acts of nature or unavoidable circumstances.
5. Prohibited Items
Fleming Island Movers will not transport hazardous materials, firearms, illegal substances, or any items prohibited by law. Customers are responsible for ensuring that all items comply with regulations.
6. Customer Responsibilities
- Preparation: Ensure all items are packed and ready for transport before the movers arrive unless packing services have been requested.
- Disclosure: Inform Fleming Island Movers about any unusually heavy, fragile, or high-value items requiring special handling.
- Accessibility: Provide clear and safe access to the property for the moving crew and vehicle.
7. Storage Terms
- Duration and Fees: Storage services are subject to separate agreements, including fees and duration.
- Access: Clients may access their stored items by prior appointment.
- Liability: While items are stored in a secure facility, Fleming Island Movers is not responsible for damage or loss due to circumstances beyond our control.
8. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, Fleming Island Movers aims to resolve issues amicably. If no resolution is reached, disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any legal action must be filed in a competent court within the state.
